The public sample uses a short-lived browser cookie to keep the fictional workspace open. Public sample data is not a customer record.

If you submit the self-guided demo form or demo request, we collect the business contact details and request context you provide. Do not enter secrets, regulated data, production credentials, or confidential detection logic.
Why we use it
We use submitted details to support the requested sample session, respond to a demo request, and tailor the Vigilant Council product walkthrough.
First-party analytics
On public and sample pages we may record page and route views, selected controls, form-event outcomes, visible time, tour progress, language, privacy-safe referral path, and allowed UTM attribution. We do not send raw email, name, company, message text, stack text, tenant IDs, or object IDs to analytics.
Where form records go
Submitted demo requests and retained sample-access records are available only to authorized operators. A sample-only browser session may be created without retaining a contact record.
Cookies and browser storage
The sample uses an essential security cookie. Same-tab context may be stored for up to 30 minutes so a demo form can reuse details you already entered. First-party analytics uses a pseudonymous browser identifier unless you opt out or Global Privacy Control is active.
Retention
We retain public contact, session, analytics, and notification-delivery records only as long as needed for the stated purposes and any security, legal, or abuse-prevention obligations. You can contact us to request deletion.
Notifications
We may send submitted requests through our email service and retain delivery status or errors with the request record.
Your choices
You can disable non-essential analytics in this browser below. Global Privacy Control is honored for non-essential analytics. Essential security and sample-session storage still operates when needed for the requested flow.
